This poster that is advertising cervical cancer is very affective as it says 'Spread The Word, Save A Sister', this is affective as by saying ' Save A Sister' makes the people looking at it think about if they have a sister, what happens if their sister ends up with cervical cancer? What if she does and she doesn't tell anyone? What if something bad happens?

Cervical Cancer.

I am going to be doing my research on Cervical Cancer. From my research I have found a few posters showing people what Cervical Cancer is and also for my own use so i can see what has already been done to advertise it to everyone. I uploaded these pictures so I can see how people have actually advertised it so I can understand and get ideas on how to produce my own advertisement. I also got these pictures to know how to make mine different to all the others and also know what exactly to base mine on. My posters are going to be completely different ideas from ones before and are going to show people in more emotion, it's going to be more eye-catching and more understandable so that all ages from teenages to adults will know what Cervical Cancer is. Teenagers should understand just as much as adults so they know and can make the decision of going to have either an injection of a smear test.

Section B Research into Cervical Cancer

Cervical cancer is malignant neoplasm of the cervix uteri or cervical area. It may present with vaginal bleeding but symptoms may be absent until the cancer is in its advanced stages. Treatment consists of surgery in early stages and chemotherapy and radiotherapy in advanced stages of the disease.
About 2,800 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer in the UK each year. Overall, 2 out of every 100 cancers diagnosed in women are cervical cancers. But it is the second most common cancer in women under 35 years old. Added to this, about 24,000 women have a severely abnormal cervical screening result every year. About 4.4 million women are invited for cervical screening each year in England
